 Verificata I LOVE THIS HOTEL!
When we arrived in Catania, it was our last week of 4 weeks travelling throughout Italy in the month of January 2024. Several people had warned us that Catania was not safe and so we arrived with some doubts about whether or not we even wanted to be there. Also, our GPS took us the wrong way - down a "pedestrians only" street that could have resulted in us getting fined had we not immediately turned around. So, all of that is to say that our arrival in Catania was with much apprehension and frustration BUT this hotel turned things around IMMEDIATELY. Of the 12 hotels we stayed in during our 32 days in Italy, this hotel was definitely within the top 3 (and perhaps even #1). The location is perfect. If you are a first-time visitor of Catania, this hotel is located in the ideal spot for anything you wish to see. And, our concerns over safety were very quickly set aside. We fell in love with Catania and with this hotel. The staff deserve a specific mention: Alessandra (especially for putting up with my initial frustration upon arriving after a long drive), Renato, and Serena - all of you made our stay superb. Your genuine care and your beautiful energy added to our experience in this gorgeous hotel. We thank-you and definitely will be back one day soon! Now, the rooms....they are spectacular. Right upon entering, I was amazed at the architecture of the building, the little courtyard in the entrance, the "lobby" (more like a palace hallway - gorgeous), and then the entrance to our room. We stayed in the Crisma Room which was beautiful and gave us a perfect view (albeit on a bit of an angle but that made it ever-the-more quaint) of the Basilica Cathedral di Sant-Agata from the Juliette balcony. The room was exceptional in its design - high ornate ceilings, comfortable bed, beautiful furnishings (true to the palace's origins) and excellent amenities for a hotel room. I have read other reviews that mention there is no breakfast. I also read the response indicating that is incorrect. I too was unfortunately unaware breakfast was an option. Our travel agent made the reservation so I am not sure if she missed that option but I was not aware we could have had breakfast in our room and I definitely would have opted for that - though there were plenty of options around the hotel too. Also the common sitting area did have amenities like a water machine (still and carbonated) and coffee and some nuts and snacks throughout the day and that was appreciated and wonderful. Perhaps an extra mention on the hotel site to ensure guests know about the breakfast option is a good idea. Catania was one of our favourite stops of 18 cities we visited during this trip and we definitely have to go back! When we do, there is no doubt this is the hotel we will be booking.

Paradisiaco, dall' accoglienza alla disponibilità per qualsiasi richiesta! Luogo moooolto bello, pulitissimo, profumatissimo, raffinato ed esclusivo. Ho amato ogni dettaglio, il soffitto mozzafiato con gli angeli, il pavimento.. perfino gli infissi, i quali grazie alla loro capacita di assorbire le vibrazioni sonore, ho dormito senza essere disturbata, nel mio mondo regnante! pernottamento eccellente, consiglio.

Hotel de lujo muy curioso. Está en un piso de un palacete situado en una de las principales plazas del centro. Habitaciones muy bien decoradas en estilo moderno, con todo tipo de detalles en los productos de aseo. La zona de desayuno es pequeña por lo que no pueden hacer bufet, así que te piden que ordenes el desayuno la tarde antes y te sirven lo que has pedido. El trato de todo el personal fue estupendo, amabilidad y disponibilidad absoluta. Fue una estancia muy agradable.

 Verificata Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Catania
The service and attention to detail here were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, including one person who went way above and beyond and helped my wife sort out a problem with our airline reservations. From the welcoming glass of wine, the morning coffee and croissants, and the beautiful room, the experience exceeded our expectations. With a location in the heart of Catania with a view of the Duomo, we were just a short walk from numerous restaurants and night life. We did use their valet service, as parking in this central area is challenging. We would certainly stay here again.

In pieno centro a Catania. Bello accogliente quasi intimo con solo sette stanze. Stanze arredate con molto gusto come il resto degli ambienti . In camera è presente una caffettiera espresso Lavazza come non bastasse il servizio offerto in reception Ci si arriva comodamente in auto. Il park pubblico è a due minuti a piedi. Overall this hotel was awesome. Great location and great staff! Room was clean and well put together. HUGE thank you to Alessandra who did an incredible job. My one small nit was that my room was tiny and didn't look much like the other rooms in the pictures.

 Verificata What a gem!
This place is a gem! Wow we were impressed! This is a historic 17th century (I believe 1693) building with renovated modern hotel. It is adjacent to the Duomo but tucked away in a quiet street nearby. The staff is amazing from Renato to Alessandra you could not ask for better service. But what blew us away is the restoration of this majestic rooms (I believe only 7 rooms). Breakfast was included in our rate and we could choose from amazing Sicilian treats and we selected the breakfast the night before. Then in the morning the amazing breakfast was brought in pushable service table that was beautifully decorated. Delicious! Highly recommend this wonderful place! PS they also organized transportation to airport
